What do the different infrared light types do?

Our sauna combines all three infrared wavelengths. Near-infrared is the most effective for stimulating skin repair and collagen production (anti-aging). Mid-infrared best heats tissues and joints, generating warmth from inside the body rather than the air. Far-infrared can raise core body temperature by up to 5 degrees — ideal for sweating and detoxification.

How much does an InBody scan cost in San Diego?

At TruSelf Sporting Club, a single InBody scan is $25 for non-members and $15 for members. Every new TruSelf membership includes one free scan, and our $19/month InBody plan includes a monthly scan with no contract.

Do I need a gym membership to get an InBody scan?

No — anyone can book a $25 single test, which includes all-day gym access and a results review with a personal trainer.

How long does an InBody test take?

The scan itself takes about 15 seconds. Plan around 15–20 minutes total to review your results sheet with one of our trainers.

How should I prepare for my InBody scan?

Hydrate well the day before, skip caffeine that day, avoid eating 3–4 hours before, avoid exercise 6–12 hours before, and skip the sauna or shower right before testing. Don't test if you have a pacemaker or implanted electronic medical device, or are pregnant.
