TruSelf Sporting Club’s Boxing/Kickboxing Program is a ​unique type of exercise that teaches and refines body movement through the fundamentals of boxing and kickboxing. ​Class-style ​workouts will be focused on a mix of martial arts techniques as well as cardio to get the heart pumping!  A great combination of both explosive movements and focus on control and technique, kickboxing workouts are a fun challenge for everyone! It doesn’t matter whether you are a first​-timer or a seasoned athlete, this ​style of exercise is guaranteed to be a great experience for pushing you to the next level.

Boxing and KickBoxing

Bring it all together for one of the most effective ways to level up your fitness! Our instructor, Nico, has been doing martial arts for just over a decade and has spent four years teaching kickboxing to a multitude of individuals that range from beginner to advanced ​levels. He has a black belt in a Filipino art called Serrada which involves combative techniques with sticks, various blades, and empty hands.  ​He also holds a brown belt in a Hawaiian Kempo system that focuses more on self-defense as well as traditional forms. ​Finally, he has a few years ​of practice with Capoeira, an Afro Brazilian art that combines dance, acrobatics, and martial arts techniques together. The lessons passed on to him brought about a love for understanding body movement and ​a passion for teaching and sharing what he knows ​best.
We only ask that eventually you bring your own hand wraps and gloves so that you can start your journey!

Learn the use of training mitts or boxing gloves and pads as the basis for a workout programmed around the use of combat skills training and techniques.
